We use large-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) with high-density Lithium chemistry, integrated by a proprietary EMS (Energy Management System). The great differential of our solution is the creation of a Virtual Spinning Reserve. The batteries instantly take over the load in case of variations, eliminating the need to keep diesel generators in hot standby. This reduces the load cycles of the diesel generators, preserving the thermal mechanics and cutting fuel consumption at the source.
